OFFICIAL ACTIVITIES OF PABCON IN 2012

We are pleased to inform you on the Official Championships of the Pan American Bowling Confederation – PABCON which will be held next year 2012.

1 .- Tournament Inter Schools and Bowling Academies of America – 2012 .
ELEGIBLE: All the young people of American Countries. 12, 14 and 16 years old or younger.
VENUES: Bowling Alleys of each Academy and School.
DATES: “PABCON Weeks” will be defined.

2 .- Pan American Champion of the Champions – PABCON 2012.
ELEGIBLE: The National Champion of both genders of each Country (or the two designated Bowlers by the Country).
QUALIFYING EVENT: The top eight (8) Countries – next to Colombia – will qualify to participate in the World Games in 2013 to be held in Cali, Colombia.
HOST : Training Center of KEGEL, in Lake Wales , FL, USA
DATES: May 9 – 12, 2012.

3.- Pan American Adults Championships Men and Women – PABCON 2012.
Eligible: Maximum six (6) men and six (6) women per Country.
QUALIFYING EVENT: The top eight (8) Countries – next to the USA – will qualify to participate in the World Championships Men and Women Championships 2013, to be held in Las Vegas, USA. ( In order to be eligible to qualify, at least five (5) bowlers per gender must participate ) .
HOST : Henderson, Las Vegas Nevada, USA.
DATES: August 18 – 26, 2012.

Pan American Games – Guadalajara 2011

Pattern

In reference to the established in the Technical Manual of our Sport Bowling/Boliche in the topic " Competition Format ", we inform to all the Classified and Inscribed Countries, that:

The types of Pattern to be used in the Pan American Games – Guadalajara 2011, will be:

" Short and Medium "

The final patterns to be used for the championship will be taken from the WTBA series published for the year 2011 and be announced during the Technical Meeting. The technical meeting will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Pan American Village.
